Overview
Lean Strategies for Product Development is an easy, quick read intended to introduce the reader to the whole idea of applying lean concepts in product development. Written using a business-novel format, lean product development concepts are presented in the context of a story centered around two characters - a customer and his supplier. Through the dialog shared between the characters, the concepts are presented and a new business opportunity emerges.
The goal in writing Lean Strategies was to create a concise, easy-to-read book that would clearly convey the application of lean concepts and the resulting benefits from product development that others could understand and replicate.
